The Air Jordan 13 Black Cat consists as the newest iteration of the silhouette to kick-off 2017, as the basketball sneaker’s aesthetic is essentially inspired by the black panther.
The silhouette boasts a stealthy black finish across its entire upper with 3M reflective detailing evident throughout, as well as on the laces. The respective theme is further evident with the circular hologram on the heel and outsole to simply mimic the panther’s eye respectively. In addition, slight glossy portions on the matching rubber sole unit finish off its understated and sleek design.
The silhouette will be offered in full family sizing — GS, PS, TD and Crib. Official imagery of the Toddler pair is revealed.
Jordan Brand’s holiday 2016 lineup will cap off with the release of this Air Jordan 6 Black Cat, in addition to the GS-exclusive AJ 6 Purple Dynasty.
As suggested, a stealthy black leather composition with enlarged perforations to promote sufficient ventilation comprises its overall upper. The perforated portion also bears a reflective element to increase its visibility in low-lit conditions, and it’s activated when exposed to flash.
Unlike the all-black AJ 3 and AJ 4 renditions — this variation is contrasted with pristine white accents gracing the midsole unit and Jumpman branding. Although not shown in this gallery, a graphic of its respective theme is also placed on the insoles.
Priced at $190, you can buy a pair at select Nike and JB stockists on Saturday, December 31st, 2016.
Release Date: March 26th, 2016
One of the most highly coveted Air Jordan 4 colorways of all time is set to release to the public next year. Yes, I’m talking about the Air Jordan 4 Motorsport.
When the Air Jordan 4 Motorsport initially released, it didn’t drop as a GR to the public. As a matter of fact, the shoe was only given to members of the Jordan Brand Motorsport team. So if you weren’t a part of that exclusive club, you probably don’t own a pair. For some reason (which I’m not mad at), Jordan Brand has decided to release the Air Jordan 4 Motorsport to the public. This Motorsport 4 will come with a White leather upper, offset by the hits of Black and Royal Blue placed throughout the shoe. Mars Blackmon branding also appears on the side of the heel to give it that official look and feel.
If you have the Nike SNKRS app then you may have already seen that Nike plans on dropping a “mystery” sneaker on Christmas Day as part of their “12 Soles” collection.
The page for this mystery drop doesn’t reveal too many details. It just says “YOU BETTER WATCH OUT” and it has been labeled as a “Mystery Drop.” The description then reads “Launching at a random time on Sunday, December 25th.” So what could this possibly be? Maybe a restock of a hyped Nike or Air Jordan that released earlier this year? A Christmas-themed sneaker? An older retro that lots of people have been waiting for? Make sure you’re glued to the Nike SNKRS app on Sunday for your chance to cop whatever it is that’s being released.
Reebok continues to shine light on some of their overlooked retro silhouettes as we’ll now be seeing the return of the Reebok Workout Plus R12 for the holiday season.
The retro sneaker from the 90’s is seen above in a timeless all-white leather upper accompanied by a gum rubber outsole for that classic look. Reebok branding is then present on the heel tab, tongue, and side panels in blue. White laces and a grey inner liner complete the look on this Reebok Workout Plus R12.
During the Buccaneers/Cowboys game on Sunday night, Skip Bayless took part in a Facebook Live stream, because you know, we don’t all get enough of Skip during the week as it is. And during that stream, which featured Skip going on and on and on about how great he thinks the Cowboys are, one commenter had some really nice things to say about Skip. It seems that particular person thinks Skip is “the man” and loves his new show Undisputed on Fox Sports 1. But wait, is that person actually…
Uh, so this is awkward. It appears as though Skip has a Facebook account that he uses to offer up praise for himself on the social media site. But on Sunday night, while leaving a compliment for, er, himself, he used the wrong account and actually left a comment for Skip as Skip, which was a pretty ridiculous thing to do.
Initially, people thought that the screengrab of the comment that was posted by Cox Media/Atlanta Journal-Constitution football analyst Ollie Connolly was fake, especially since it received “1.4K likes” on Facebook and “1.4” is a number that’s very commonly associated with Bayless thanks to Jalen Rose. But Connolly maintains that the comment is 100 percent legit and that the guy who left a comment on Skip’s compliment, Dylan Goodin, witnessed Skip leave it during the Facebook Live stream.
